VIDA Health (Victorian Health Building Authority) is responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government's multi-billion-dollar health capital projects. We're delivering world-class health facilities across Victoria including current public hospitals and emergency care, community health services, ambulance branches, residential aged care and mental health facilities. VIDA Health also provides technical support across engineering, property, asset management and environmental sustainability disciplines.

The Opportunity

- Undertaking regular safety monitoring to ensure compliance with safety management systems, contractual obligations, applicable legislation, and organisational requirements.
- Proactively collaborating with project delivery contractors to develop and implement modern contractor and risk management strategies.
- Conducting regular strategic analysis of safety trends, issues, and incidents, delivering insights, reports, and actionable recommendations to executive leadership.
- Assisting with mentoring and coaching to support development and understanding of safety requirements.
- Extensive demonstrated experience developing contractual arrangements with project delivery contractors.




- Recent hands-on experience in high-risk construction environments consistently achieving outstanding safety performance.
- A dynamic professional with sound organisational and communication skills with exceptional working knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels across the organisation.
