Your new role:

As the Data Officer within the Specialist Outpatients Department, you’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate, reliable and timely data supports outpatient operations and decision-making. Working closely with the multidisciplinary team, you’ll identify and correct data issues, provide technical support and turn complex information into meaningful reports.

About This Role

Your new role:

As the Data Officer within the Specialist Outpatients Department, you’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate, reliable and timely data supports outpatient operations and decision-making. Working closely with the multidisciplinary team, you’ll identify and correct data issues, provide technical support and turn complex information into meaningful reports.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform regular data cleansing and validation to maintain accurate outpatient records.
- Provide advice, support and training across key Queensland Health data systems.
- Analyse data and prepare clear, reliable reports for departmental and executive use.
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, data quality and service outcomes.

About You





You’re a detail-focused and analytical professional who enjoys working with data, systems and people. You can manage competing priorities, communicate technical information clearly and proactively identify ways to improve processes.

Skills & Experience

- Strong data analysis, reporting and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills and experience working with databases and dashboards.
- Experience with Queensland Health systems such as ESM, HBCIS, ieMR or SWMIS.
- Strong communication, training and stakeholder engagement skills across multidisciplinary teams.

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
