Rostered hours will align with the current sports programschedule on Friday mornings and Tuesday, Wednesday, and Fridayevenings, with future programming extending to Thursdayevenings.

Under the City of Kwinana's structured remuneration system, thisposition is classified as a PACS Recreational Band 1.

An opportunity is now openfor a motivated and enthusiastic Sports Supervisor to join the teamat the City of Kwinana’s recreation centre (the Recquatic).

As the Sports Supervisor, you will oversee the delivery of allcurrent team sport competitions, and future programme delivery. Inthis hands-on role, you will be responsible for ensuring thecompetitions are delivered safely and professionally whileproviding exceptional customer service to all stakeholders. Youwill work closely with the Stadium and Facility Bookings TeamLeader, umpires and players.

Key duties include responding to customer complaints, completingsafety audits on playing surfaces, rostering of umpires, updatingof fixtures and ladders, assisting with umpiring and liaising withumpires, team and players to resolve issues in a professionalmanner.

What You Will Need

- Experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of competition rules and ability to interpret fora variety of sports (Netball Highly desirable)
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skillsespecially conflict resolution/negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of participant engagement andcustomer service strategies.
- Highly effective time management and organisationalskills
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Provide First Aid, Police Clearance and Working withChildren Check.
