Electronics Assembler (PCB Process worker)

We are an electronics manufacturer located in the Blacktown / Norwest area seeking an electronics assembler / process worker for manual loading of components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) for an IMMEDIATE start.

Key responsibilities

n

n
- Hand soldering surface mount and through-hole components onto printed circuit boards
n
- Basic final assembly of electronic equipment using power tools and/or hand tools
n
- Manual cable crimping and stripping wires
n
- Manual handling and heavy lifting
n
- Inspection of loaded circuit boards
n
- Reworking circuit boards using de-soldering tools
n
- General electronic assembly work on production line
n

Selection Criteria

n

n
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
n




- High-quality hand soldering skills
n
- Basic knowledge of electronic components
n
- Previous experience in manual Surface Mount (SMT) and/or Through Hole loading (THT) of components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs)
n
- Previous experience crimping cables and stripping wires
n
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks whilst maintaining work to a high standard
n
- Excellent Fine Motor Skills (Ability to handle and assemble precision components)
n
- Previous experience and competency using hand tools
n
- Previous SMT Inspection and rework experience advantageous but not essential
