We are currently seeking a dedicated Sports Turf Skilled / Golf Course Groundskeeper to join the grounds maintenance team at a prestige Golf & Country Club in Melbourne VIC.

About the Role

n

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced turf professional or groundskeeper who is passionate about maintaining premium sporting and recreational golf facilities. You will play a key role in ensuring the golf course and surrounding landscapes are presented to the highest standard year-round.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Manage and maintain golf course turf, greens, tees, fairways, and surrounding grounds.
n
- Perform mowing, irrigation, fertilisation, and aeration programs.
n
- Monitor turf health and implement pest, weed, and disease control measures.
n
- Operate and maintain turf management equipment and machinery.
n
- Assist with course set-up for tournaments and special events.
n




- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with workplace health and safety standards.
n
- Support environmental sustainability initiatives and water management programs.
n

About You

n

n
- Previous experience in sports turf management, golf course maintenance, landscaping, or groundskeeping.
n
- Certificate III or IV in Sports Turf Management (preferred).
n
- Sound knowledge of turf care practices, irrigation systems, and machinery operation.
n
- Current Driver's Licence.
n
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
n
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high presentation standards.
