Our client is a well-established and highly regarded accounting and wealth management firm on the Gold Coast. With a strong reputation for delivering tailored advice and exceptional client service, they support a diverse portfolio of family businesses, entrepreneurs and professionals.

Due to continued growth, an chance has arisen for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their collaborative and high-performing team. This is a client-facing position suited to someone who enjoys building relationships, providing quality support, and working as part of a supportive bookkeeping team.

Your new role

Reporting into the bookkeeping team, you will manage a varied client portfolio and be responsible for delivering accurate and timely bookkeeping services.

- End-to-end bookkeeping for a diverse client base
- Bank, credit card and intercompany reconciliations
- End-to-end payroll processing
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable management
- Preparation and lodgement of BAS, IAS, STP and TPAR reporting
- Payroll tax preparation and reporting
- Preparation of reports and documentation to support accountants and clients
- Assisting with the review and mentoring of junior team members where required




- Building and maintaining strong client relationships

What you'll need

- Proven bookkeeping experience, ideally within a public practice or client-facing environment
- Strong Xero experience and knowledge of cloud-based accounting systems
- Sound understanding of payroll, GST, BAS and compliance obligations
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities
- A proactive and team-oriented approach
- The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy
