Austek Roads (ACT) are seeking a skilled full time Spreader Truck Driver to join our team in Hume, ACT.
What you'll be doing
- Safely operate heavy vehicles, plant and equipment
- Follow direction of Crew leader, site foreperson, project manager and other senior managers
- Perform pre-operational checks and maintenance on all assigned equipment
- Identify and report any equipment issues or maintenance needs
- Adhere to all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
What we're looking for
- Current driver's licence (HC/HR) and ability to obtain necessary construction certifications
- Asphalt/Seal or roadworks exp
- White card
- Silica and Asbestos awareness training
- Proficient in the operation and maintenance of bitumen spraying equipment
- Robust attention to detail and ability to achieve consistent, quality results
- Positive communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with the construction crew
- Commitment to workplace health and safety
