Senior Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator to support a major technology transformation and digital services environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization’s Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform, including marketing automation, campaign execution, data management, system integrations, reporting and end-user support.

The role will work closely with marketing, technology and business teams to ensure the platform is effectively configured, integrated and continuously improved.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain the Salesforce Marketing Cloud instance, including data management and data cleansing.
- Create and execute email marketing campaigns, including list management, segmentation and A/B testing.
- Maintain and document Marketing Cloud configurations and operational processes.
- Support integrations between Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce Sales Cloud/Service Cloud.
- Develop and implement marketing automation workflows and customer journeys.
- Support Salesforce CRM administration,



particularly campaigns and their management across Marketing Cloud and CRM platforms.
- Design and appropriately utilise Data Extensions.
- Monitor and analyse campaign performance and provide actionable insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate marketing automation with other systems and business processes.
- Stay current with recent Salesforce Marketing Cloud features and recommend platform improvements.
- Provide training and support to end users, including troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- 5+ experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud administration and implementation.
- Experience across email marketing, marketing automation and data management.
- Strong understanding of CRM systems and processes, particularly Salesforce.
- Strong Proficiency in SQL, AMP script and HTML/CSS.
- Ability to analyze campaign data and provide insights to improve campaign performance.
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud certification.
- Strong understanding of the broader Salesforce platform and its functionality.
- Good understanding of integrating external data sources with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud or Architecture certification(s) would be advantageous
