The Role

- Administers the Work Health and Safety (WHS) Act 2020 and Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022 as an Inspector of Mines.
- Assists the leadership team in developing policies, guides, strategies, and technical materials to support effective safety compliance.
- Undertakes regulatory activity, including investigations, relating to sensitive and complex health and radiation safety matters.
- Leads complex workplace investigations with thorough analysis, impartial decisions, and regulatory compliance.




- Leads expert advisory coordination on critical health and safety matters in the resources sector.
- Develops, implements, and monitors performance measures to improve health and safety outcomes.
- Guides industry, government, and other stakeholders to advance WorkSafe Group's objectives and enhance regulatory confidence.
