As they continue to grow their presence on large-scale, mission critical construction projects across Melbourne, they are seeking an experienced Electrical Construction - Performance & Production Manager to join their team.
This is a hands-on, site-based leadership role for an experienced superintendent, construction manager, or senior supervisor who thrives on turning plans into productive field execution.
What You Will Do
- Monitor and manage labour productivity across major construction sites, tracking output against program to identify risks early
- Implement strategies to lift labour utilisation and reduce non-productive time
- Provide visible, hands-on leadership on site, setting clear standards for supervisors and leading hands
- Build a site culture of accountability, safety, and performance
- Partner with project leadership, supervisors, and leading hands to resolve productivity barriers and align labour deployment with schedule
- Support sequencing, resourcing, and lookahead planning, and contribute to labour forecasting
- Escalate delays and progress risks to project and executive leadership through transparent, regular reporting
- Apply Lean Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement principles to reduce waste and improve workflow
- Support the rollout of standardised productivity tracking tools and reporting
What You Will Bring
- Proven experience managing labour and productivity within construction, industrial, or a similar project-based environment, at superintendent, construction manager, or senior supervisor level
- Strong grasp of construction methodologies, sequencing, and labour-intensive delivery
- A confident, hands-on leadership style with a genuine appetite for time on site
- Strong analytical skills, able to interpret labour and productivity data to drive decisions
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, building trust and influence with supervisors, leading hands, and senior leadership
- Trade or tertiary qualification (e.g. Quantity Surveying), Lean Six Sigma certification, or equivalent demonstrated experience
- Current site safety inductions/tickets (e.g. White Card)
- Mission critical, data centre, or major industrial construction experience will be advantageous.
If you are a hands-on construction leader who can improve labour productivity, remove barriers to progress and help site teams deliver safely, efficiently and on program, we would like to hear from you.
