Senior Legal Counsel – Construction | Data Centres

Our client is one of the more interesting builds in the market right now. A renewable-powered data centre developer with a quick-growing AI cloud business. This isn't a "watch from the sidelines" legal role. It's in the middle of live construction, procurement and delivery decisions on some of the largest data centre projects in the region.

The Role

Reporting into the legal leadership team, you'll be the construction law specialist supporting a major data centre build program end to end. Day to day, that means:

- Drafting and negotiating EPC and construction contracts for large-scale data centre and power infrastructure projects
- Managing risk allocation across contractors, engineers and equipment suppliers
- Advising on procurement strategy, variations and claims as projects move through construction
- Supporting site acquisition,



planning approvals and connection agreements alongside the broader legal and development teams
- Working closely with project delivery, engineering and commercial teams, not just reviewing paper after the fact

What We’re Looking For

- 10+ years' PQE, with a construction law specialism
- A mix of top-tier private practice training and in-house experience with a major contractor, EPC or developer
- Comfortable operating on complex, high-value infrastructure projects with multiple stakeholders
- Someone looking to build a long-term home with a business that’s scaling quickly, not a stepping stone
