We're recruiting for a Senior Accountant to join a public practice firm in Sydney. This is a hands‑on role for someone who has moved past pure compliance and wants more ownership over client relationships, review work and technical problem‑solving across a wide-ranging client base.

What You'll Be Doing

- Managing a portfolio of clients across financial statements, income tax returns and BAS/IAS compliance
- Preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals, trusts, companies and partnerships
- Reviewing work prepared by Intermediates and Graduates, and supporting their technical development
- Liaising directly with clients on their affairs, including more complex tax and structuring queries
- Assisting with tax planning, Division 7A, CGT and small business concessions as they arise within the portfolio
- Working closely with Managers and Partners on larger or more technical client matters




- Contributing to client meetings and building your own relationships within the portfolio

What You'll Bring

- CA or CPA qualified (or close to completion)
- 3+ years' experience in public practice (essential)
- Strong technical accounting and tax fundamentals, with the confidence to review others' work
- Experience across a range of client entities (individuals, trusts, companies, SMSFs)
- Comfortable working directly with clients, not just behind the scenes
- Genuine interest in progressing toward a Manager role
