Drive the People Strategy for a National Care Leader

We are partnering with a rapidly growing, highly respected national provider of Aged Care, NDIS Disability Support, and Clinical Community Services on a confidential search for a dynamic Head of People & Culture.

Having recently completed a highly successful financial turnaround and entered robust profitability, this organisation is at a scaling inflection point. Backed by organic growth, multi-site expansions (adding 30+ service sites over the next 3 years), and an impending major acquisition, this role offers a HR leader the platform to design and embed scalable workforce frameworks that will shape the future of care.

The Role:

Operating at the "Shape (Head of)" level within the leadership framework, you will architect their workforce systems. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer and partnering closely with the CEO, COO, and Clinical Governance teams, you will translate high-level growth strategy into robust operational priorities.

Key Focus Areas:

- Workforce Strategy & Planning: Design, scale, and embed organisational structures that align headcount with rapidly shifting service demand across multiple service streams.
- Employee Relations & Complex Awards: Direct the employee relations framework with a "firm on compliance, human on ER" approach, navigating complex modern award environments (including SCHADS) and enterprise agreements with absolute integrity.
- Capability & Leadership Development: Build strong operational leadership capability across frontline management teams, collaborating with L&D; to establish coaching and active mentoring frameworks.
- Governance & Clinical Risk Compliance: Partner with the executive compliance team to safeguard care standards,



manage workforce risk, and ensure total alignment with Aged Care Quality Standards and the NDIS Code of Conduct.
- Systems, Data & Analytics: Optimise P&C; technology platforms (such as time-and-attendance and payroll integrations) and construct interactive executive reporting dashboards that provide real-time visibility over compliance, retention, and capacity.

About You:

To thrive in this role, you will be an executive who views P&C; as a business enabler and a commercial system, rather than an administrative cost centre.

You will bring:

- Extensive HR Leadership Experience: Proven track record in a senior P&C;/HR leadership or senior business partnering role, ideally within healthcare, aged care, disability support, community services, or complex, multi-site "blue collar" sectors (e.g., logistics, retail, hospitality).
- Heavyweight Industrial Relations Credential: Strong, hands-on experience interpreting complex modern awards (SCHADS 2010 heavily regarded) and leading EBAs or union negotiations.
- M&A; or Integration Pedigree: Proven success managing the people dimensions of organisational transformations, restructures, post-acquisition integrations, or rapid workforce expansions.
- Data-Driven & Systems Savvy: A passion for people analytics, technology implementations, and using data to identify trends related to burnout, well-being, and operational risk.
- Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related discipline.
