What you'll be doing:

Your role will combine technical tax expertise,



advisory, client leadership and people development.

You'll:

- Manage and develop relationships with a diverse portfolio of sophisticated clients
- Provide high-level tax advice across complex business and transactional matters
- Work directly with Partners on significant advisory assignments and technical matters
- Become a trusted advisor to clients rather than simply their tax contact
- Lead engagements from initial conversation through to delivery
- Coach, mentor and develop talented accountants and emerging tax professionals
- Collaborate with specialists across the broader business to deliver genuinely commercial solutions
- Identify opportunities to add value to clients beyond the immediate engagement
- Play an active role in the continued growth and development of the Tax practice

The person we're looking for

We're not looking for someone who simply ticks every box on a position description.

We're looking for an accomplished tax professional who is technically strong, commercially minded, good with people and ambitious about where their career can go.

You'll ideally bring:

- Strong Australian tax experience gained within professional services, accounting or tax advisory




- Experience operating at Manager level, or the capability to make the step into management
- CA, CPA, CTA or another relevant professional qualification
- Robust technical tax knowledge with the confidence to tackle complex matters
- Experience managing client relationships and engagements
- The ability to lead, mentor and bring the best out of others
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to work directly with senior clients and Partners
- A commercial mindset - you understand that great tax advice needs to work in the real world
- The ambition to continue developing rather than simply settling into another management position
