Step into a pivotal clinical role and help shape the future of emergency veterinary care in Melbourne's north. VicVet Emergency & Referral launched its purpose-built hospital in Whittlesea on April 3rd, 2026, forming part of an integrated, triple-tiered model delivering general practice, emergency & referral care and rehabilitation under one roof. As an ECC Veterinarian, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality emergency and critical care within a collaborative, well-supported team.

As an Emergency & Critical Care Veterinarian, you will:
- Provide high-quality emergency and critical care to a diverse caseload
- Work collaboratively with ECC nurses, vets, and the wider referral team
- Contribute to the development of clinical workflows and protocols
- Participate in a supportive and team-oriented environment
- Manage a mix of sole-charge and team-based shifts with strong support systems in place

What We Offer
Competitive Salary
- $120,000 – $180,000 + superannuation (commensurate with experience)
- Assistance with visa sponsorship including extending working holiday visas and sponsored visas

About You
We’re looking for a motivated ECC or GP clinician who thrives in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
You will bring:
- Experience or a strong interest in emergency and critical care
- Confidence in managing urgent and complex cases
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to high standards of patient care and clinical excellence
- A veterinary degree registrable in Victoria (BVSc, DVM, or equivalent)
