About the Centre for Social Justice & Inclusion
Social justice is front and centre in UTS’s vision and purpose; and a core component of its Strategic Plan, priorities and KPIs. This focus has led to the creation of a rich array of successful social justice, equity and diversity programs across the university. The Centre for Social Justice & Inclusion (CSJI) works in collaboration with the University, Faculties and central units to build equity, respect for diversity and social justice into our mainstream policies and practices, and to provide a work and study environment that is free from unlawful harassment and discrimination. We promote access and success for all students. CSJI is responsible for ensuring that student equity is embedded into the UTS culture and values. This work is delivered by the Centre’s Student Equity Team.
