DWS is seeking an experienced Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Transition Manager to lead the transition of a major warehouse management system into live operations across multiple distribution sites for one of Australia’s largest retail groups.

This role requires genuine WMS transition and cutover ownership experince; not just related project management expereince.

- Own end-to-end cutover, go-live and transition activities across multiple sites
- Lead site readiness, hypercare and BAU handover in live warehouse settings
- Work closely with operations leaders, technology teams and delivery partners

Salary: up to $210K (inc super)

Essential Skills and Experience:

- Very significant senior level experience delivering complex, enterprise-scale WMS or supply chain platform go-lives within multi-site retail or logistics environments in Australia, with Manhattan WMS experience being strongly preferred.
- A career history of transition and cutover ownership experience.
- Experience delivering phased, site-by-site rollouts within major national distribution centre environments.
- Comfortable operating within live warehouse environments, including out-of-hours cutovers and high-pressure go-live periods.




- Excellent senior stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence operational and technology teams.
- Experience coordinating vendors, along with third-party delivery and integration partners.

What you will be doing:

- Own the entire national transition from build into live operations across all distribution sites, including cutover planning, rehearsals, go/no-go decisions and site-by-site deployments.
- Drive site readiness across data, interfaces, equipment, training activities and operational process changes.
- Lead hypercare activities and transition sites into BAU support, ensuring issues and defects are tracked through to resolution.
- Manage transition schedules, risks, issues and dependencies across multiple sites and provide governance reporting.
- Engage with operations leaders, supply chain technology teams and external vendors.
