University of Cambridge seeks a PhD student for a three-year research studentship at the intersection of NLP, big data and disease alerting. The Panda Alert project aims to develop distributed semantic models to understand adverse health event reports.

The position is part of the DREAM CDT through the Data, Risk and Environmental Analytical Methods program. The successful candidate will join an interdisciplinary team from Computer Science, Computational Linguistics and Public Health and work on
