About the Roles
Reporting to a Payroll Team Leader or Payroll Manager, these roles will support the accurate and timely delivery of payroll services. Depending on the position, responsibilities will include end-to-end payroll processing, resolving complex payroll matters, supporting junior team members and partnering with key stakeholders.
Duties
- Processing end-to-end payroll
- Managing new starters, terminations and employee changes
- Completing leave calculations, back payments and payroll adjustmentsInterpreting Awards, EBAs and relevant payroll legislation
- Responding to payroll queries from employees and stakeholders
- Processing superannuation, PAYG and payroll reconciliations
- Investigating and resolving payroll discrepancies
- Supporting payroll projects and process improvements
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience processing Australian payroll
- Robust knowledge of payroll legislation, Awards and EBAs
- Experience working within complex or high-volume payroll environments
- Strong reconciliation and payroll calculation skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work autonomously and meet strict payroll deadlines
- Availability to commence immediately or at short notice
