We are seeking a skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Sydney Road Family Medical Practice. As a key member of the clinical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients and supporting our doctors in delivering exceptional medical services. The successful candidate will report to the Practice Manager.

This is initially a casual position, with the potential to transition to permanent employment as the practice's needs are established later in the year.

n

We are ideally looking for someone local who is keen to grow with the role, starting at 2 days per week, with the prospect to increase to full-time hours by December/January, subject to practice requirements.

n

Responsibilities:

- Delivering high-quality clinical nursing services to patients
n
- Assisting doctors with consultations, treatments and procedures
n




- Providing health education and advice to patients on various health issues
n
- Administering medications and vaccinations as required
n
- Ensuring accurate documentation of patient records
n
- Participating in quality improvement activities within the practice
n

Skills:

n

- Strong clinical skills with experience in general practice or community nursing preferred
n
- Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach
n
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
n
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
n
- Experience working with electronic medical record systems
n

Qualifications:

n

The successful candidate should have:

n

n
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
n
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
n
- Minimum 1 years' experience working as an RN.
n
