Consultant Psychiatrist – Adaptable Locum Opportunity (Mornington Peninsula)

- Period: Flexible - up to three months

- Commitment: Minimum 2 days per week

Responsibilities

n

n
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and formulate management plans
n
- Prescribe and monitor treatment, including psychotropic medications
n
- Provide inpatient care and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (8–10 inpatients)
n
- Participate in care planning, documentation (DMR), discharge processes and weekly MDT meetings
n
- Optional: outpatient or telehealth sessions
n

n

Qualifications

n

n
- Fellowship with RANZCP or equivalent
n
- AHPRA registration and eligibility to work in Australia
n
- Strong clinical judgement, diagnostic and documentation skills
n
- Empathetic, team-oriented, and committed to quality care
n
