Education: Bachelor's degree. Electromechanical engineering.

Work setting: Urban area.

Electrical or electronic equipment manufacturing. Manufacturing and industrial plant.

Level of expertise: Maintenance and repair.

Tasks:

n

- Conduct feasibility, design operation and performance research of electrical generation and distribution networks
n
- Supervise technicians, technologists, programmers, analysts and other engineers
n
- Prepare material cost and timing estimates, reports and design specifications
n
- Design electrical and electronic components, systems and equipment
n
- Supervise and inspect the installation and operation of electrical and electronic systems and equipment
n
- Develop maintenance and operating standards for electrical and electronic systems and equipment
n
- Investigate electrical or electronic failures
n
- Prepare contract documents and evaluate tenders for construction or maintenance
n
- Commission systems and components
n
- Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose,



test and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies and systems
n
