About Greenway Views
LDK Seniors Living’s flagship village, Greenway Views, is in Greenway, Tuggeranong in Canberra, opposite the South Point shopping centre and walking distance to the Tuggeranong town centre. The village consists of 327 apartments, spread over five buildings that is about half a kilometre long from end-to-end. Greenway Views is home to nearly 400residents over the age of 65. The village has over 6,000 square metres of communal spacefacilitatingsocial connectedness and a vibrant village community. LDK delivers lifestyle-for-life through a variety of age-friendly facilities,amenitiesand activities for both independent and non-independent residents. On-site facilities include a gym, art centre, chapel, dance room, theatre, library, several hospitality outlets, village shed, barber shop, hairdresser, medical consultation room, grocer, purpose designed meeting spaces and a dog park.
About the role
Join LDK as a Network and Infrastructure Specialist, where you'll play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the technology that supports our residents and teams. You'll be responsible for delivering reliable, secure, and high-performing network and IT infrastructure, providing day-to-day technical support, leading infrastructure projects, and managing ICT assets across our villages. This is a great opportunity for a proactive IT professional who enjoys both operational support and project-based work in a growing organisation.
Role r esponsibilities
- Maintain, monitor, and optimise network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, firewalls, VPNs, and connectivity across LDK villages.
- Provide day-to-day support for servers,
cloud and on-premises environments, ensuring systems remain secure, reliable, and high-performing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, including network, VOIP, AV, IPTV, and other core technology services.
- Support infrastructure projects, capital works initiatives, and technology upgrades in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Manage ICT assets, preventative maintenance programs, backups, disaster recovery processes, and infrastructure documentation.
- Ensure compliance with security and data protection requirements while supporting users and promoting technology best practices across the organisation.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- ITIL Foundation certification required, with CCNA (Switching & Routing/Wireless), CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Azure, or relevant IT qualifications highly regarded.
- Minimum 5 years' hands-on experience in network and infrastructure management, including network security, firewalls, VPNs, server administration, and cloud environments.
- Experience working with Cisco technologies including Meraki, as well as virtualised and hybrid infrastructure environments.
- Strong knowledge of networking technologies including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, switching, wireless networking, and security best practices.
- Experience managing cloud and on-premises infrastructure, virtual machines, Linux servers, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
- Excellent troubleshooting, stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills, with healthcare or hospitality industry experience viewed favourably.
