About the role:
The Clinical Nurse Liaison is a registered nurse who applies advanced clinical knowledge and skills to provide nursing expertise to a specific patient cohort and/or specialised area of practice. This role facilitates patient triage and clinical decision-making and nurse led interventions at the point of referral or request.
Classification for this position is YU11.
About the department:
The network provides a coordinated, evidence-informed model of care for children and young people experiencing pelvic pain, including heavy and painful periods and vulval pain. RCH serves as the central hub for intake, triage, specialist care and system leadership, supported by partnered services delivering care closer to home. Under the Gynaecology service, this role is integral to the design, establishment, implementation and ongoing management of the network, with a strong focus on service coordination, partnerships and performance.
