About The Role

The Manager Youth Road Safety Programs leads a multi-disciplinary team to deliver key learner driver and youth road safety programs that support young people to become safer road users and help deliver better road safety outcomes for Victorian communities.

The role is accountable for flagship programs including TAC L2P, myLearners free lessons and BikeEd.

The position builds strong stakeholder partnerships, ensures compliance with Child Safe Standards, and works collaboratively with policy owners, service providers, educators, community organisations and delivery partners to improve outcomes for young and inexperienced road users.

- Builds influence and stakeholder partnerships to navigate competing priorities, gain support and deliver shared outcomes across government, community and service delivery settings.




- Translates strategies into successful programs and projects through effective planning, governance, risk management and delivery.
- Uses partnering and co-creation approaches to build trust, resolve challenges and achieve outcomes with diverse stakeholders, including community organisations, service providers and government partners

Qualifications And Experience

You'll bring:

- At least 5 years’ experience in program and people management (mandatory).
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant field (mandatory).
- Experience in child safe program delivery, education, youth, community services, public sector environments and/or road safety (desirable).
