ABI Civil Contracting NSW is a progressive Australian civil contractor delivering major infrastructure projects across NSW and ACT.

Our projects span transport infrastructure, bridges, utilities, renewable energy, high voltage substations, data centres, defence and major commercial developments.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our delivery team.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will play a key role in managing engineering functions, supporting project delivery and contributing to the successful completion of major civil construction projects.

The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate previous experience operating as a Senior Project Engineer and the ability to lead engineering activities, manage project interfaces and deliver outcomes safely, efficiently and commercially.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead project engineering activities and provide technical guidance.
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers and project stakeholders.
- Monitor programme, costs,



quality and project performance.
- Support contract administration, procurement and project reporting.
- Mentor Project Engineers and contribute to continuous improvement.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Civil Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
- Demonstrated experience working as a Senior Project Engineer on major civil construction projects.
- Strong commercial, contractual and technical understanding.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver project outcomes.
- Solid leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience across roads, bridges, rail, utilities, renewable energy, substations, data centres, defence or commercial civil projects will be highly regarded.
