Prime Mover / Truck & Trailer MechanicSuspension & Brake Rebuilds – NSW

$60–$70/hr Subject to Experience + Super + OT + $30 Daily Travel Allowance

TRS Resourcing is seeking two experienced Prime Mover / Truck & Trailer Mechanics for workshop-based positions with one of our established clients in Sydney.

These positions will suit trade-qualified mechanics with strong experience working on heavy vehicle and trailer running gear, particularly suspension, braking systems, servicing and component rebuilds.

This is predominantly workshop-based work on commercial heavy vehicle equipment, with ongoing hours and overtime opportunities available.

The Role Your Responsibilities Will Include

- Servicing and repairing heavy vehicle and trailer equipment
- Suspension repairs and rebuilds
- Brake repairs and rebuilds
- Diagnosing mechanical faults
- Repair and replacement of running gear components
- Preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing
- Inspecting equipment and identifying required repairs
- Completing workshop documentation and job updates
- Working independently and as part of an experienced trades team

Pay & Conditions

- $60–$70 per hour, subject to experience + Super
- Overtime available




- $30 per day travel allowance
- Full-time hours
- Day shift
- Workshop-based position

What We’re Looking For Successful applicants will ideally have:

- Australian-recognised Heavy Vehicle, Diesel Mechanic or equivalent Mechanical Trade qualification
- Previous truck and/or trailer maintenance experience
- Strong knowledge of heavy vehicle suspension and braking systems
- Experience with component repairs and rebuilds
- Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Own tools
- Basic computer skills for workshop job updates
- Full Australian working rights
- Ability to provide two recent employer references

A forklift licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
