About the Role

n

Our Mundaring operations team is looking for a dependable Cylinder Delivery Driver.

n

You will be responsible for the delivery and collection of gas cylinders to commercial and residential customers in multiple suburbs throughout the metro and surrounding areas.

n

This is a hands-on, outdoor role that involves frequent manual handling of gas cylinders, so ideal for someone who enjoys staying on their feet!

You will

n

n
- Load and deliver bulk cylinder and individual cylinder products.
n
- Be responsible for ensuring that vehicles are always kept in a roadworthy and clean condition, with daily walkaround checks, pre-start checks and reporting any defects or symptoms of defects - vehicles driven will range from 8-12 tonne rigid trucks.
n
- Complete all relevant paperwork and activity (consignment notes, etc) and meet electronic requirements - including using handheld scanner technology to log deliveries and monitor stock.
n




- Prioritize safety at every level, with a high level of safety exerted in road and traffic safety and patience.
n
- Report any hazards, safety concerns, near misses and accidents and incidents.
n
- Be able to keep track of time and be efficient as possible.
n
- Provide good service to your customers when delivering product.
n

Skills and Experiences

n

n
- Valid MR licence and/ or HR licence.
n
- Current Forklift Operators Licence is desirable but not essential.
n
- Sense of independence and problem solve when on your own.
n
- A commitment to preventing and managing your own fatigue.
n
- Some mechanical knowledge that can be extremely helpful when on the road - how to take care of minor maintenance issues.
n
- Capacity to work variable hours and occasional weekends.
n
