St Vincent's Private Hospital Kew is seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse to join our dedicated Anaesthetics and Post Anaesthetic Care Unit (PACU) team on a 12-month fixed term full time contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled perioperative nurse who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and enjoys working within a supportive, collaborative, and highly professional environment.

About the Role
n
As a valued member of our Anaesthetics and PACU team, you will be responsible for delivering safe, evidence-based care throughout the perioperative journey. Working collaboratively with anaesthetists, surgeons and multidisciplinary team members, you will contribute to a positive patient experience while maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice.

About You
n
n
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1).
n
- Minimum 2 years experience in Anaesthetics and Post Anaesthetic Care Unit (PACU) nursing.
n
- Demonstrated ability to provide safe,
high quality patient care within a busy perioperative environment.
n
- Sound knowledge and application of ANZCA, ACORN, and NSQHS standards.
n
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
n
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritise competing demands.
n
- The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary perioperative team.
n
- Flexibility to work varying days and hours in line with operational requirements and participate in a rotating roster.
n
- A commitment to continuous improvement and evidence-based practice.
n
- Desirable: Postgraduate qualification in Anaesthetics and Recovery Nursing.
n
