As a key member of the Electrical Design and Drafting team you will play an important role in delivering skilled electrical design for our engineering teams.

n

The role involves the provision of electrical design and drafting support for projects spanning, power system design (power poles, substations), E&I; design (MCC, Switchboards) and Control system design.

n

Working directly with engineers, the position will collaborate on design improvements, modifications and revisions. Key will be ensuring design and drafting quality is maintained.

About You

n

To thrive in this position, you will bring solid experience in electrical design and drafting, having worked on projects associated mineral processing or mining applications

n





With more than 5 years working as an electrical designer, you will be experienced with both AutoCAD and MicroStation with the ability to design on both platforms according to client requirements and standards.

n

A sound client services mind-set you will be comfortable working under time constraints and working with the engineering teams to ensure on-time delivery of project designs and drawings.

n

Technically you should have experience developing single line diagrams, schematic diagrams and termination diagrams. Experience with the electrical design of substations, power poles and power lines would be an advantage.

n
