Accounts Payable Officer
n Sydney | Full time | Construction / Electrical ServicesWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join a well-established business operating within the electrical and engineering services sector.
n This is a great opportunity for an organised and detail-focused Accounts Payable professional to join a supportive finance team and work within a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

About the role:

n

n
- Processing a high volume of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
n
- Matching invoices against purchase orders and resolving discrepancies
n
- Supplier statement reconciliations and responding to supplier queries
n
- Preparing and processing payment runs
n
- Assisting with month-end processes and reconciliations
n




- Maintaining accurate supplier records and ensuring invoices are correctly coded
n
- Liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers and project teams
n
- Providing general support to the wider Finance team as required
n

n

About you:

n

n
- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable position
n
- Experience within construction, engineering, electrical services or a project-based environment (required)
n
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
n
- The ability to manage high volumes and competing deadlines
n
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
n
- Good Excel and general systems skills
n
- Experience with an ERP/accounting system
n
