About the role

In Effect Electrical is seeking a full-time Office Admin to join our team in Malaga, WA. This is a key position that will provide essential administrative and organisational support to our operations. You will be the backbone of our office, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and supporting our team to deliver excellent service to our clients. This role is based on-site at our Malaga location and offers the opportunity to be an integral part of a growing electrical services business.

What you'll be doing

- Managing incoming calls, emails and enquiries, directing them appropriately and maintaining professional communication standards
n
- Scheduling and coordinating appointments, site visits and meetings for team members
n
- Preparing and maintaining documentation, including invoices, quotations and job specifications
n
- Processing payroll and expense claims accurately and in a timely manner
n
- Maintaining filing systems and databases, ensuring records are organised and easily accessible
n
- Ordering supplies and managing inventory levels
n
- Supporting the coordination of job scheduling and dispatch operations
n
- Assisting with customer service enquiries and maintaining positive client relationships
n
- Performing general clerical duties including data entry, typing and document preparation
n
- Supporting management with administrative tasks and special projects as required
n

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in an administrative or office support role, ideally within a trades, construction or service-based business
n




- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
n
- Experience with scheduling software, email systems and general office management tools
n
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
n
- A professional and friendly demeanour with strong customer service skills
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- Reliability and punctuality
n
- Familiarity with the electrical or trades industry is desirable but not essential
