About the Role
The specialist resource will be responsible for various design and validation tasks related to MPLS-TP systems, ensuring that all components are integrated and functioning as intended.

Qualifications
Acceptance requires successful validation that all MPLS-TP software, firmware, licences and configuration artefacts are current, compatible, documented, backed up and suitable for the approved MPLS-TP design. Acceptance criteria must include successful lab configuration checks, configuration peer review, commissioning completion, service validation, protection switching validation, timing/synchronisation validation where applicable, alarm/OAM validation, management visibility, configuration backup, rollback readiness and closure of material defects.
Required Skills
- Solid understanding of MPLS-TP systems
- Experience in network management and integration
- Proficiency in design documentation and validation processes
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with HAZOP and design review workshops
- Experience in FAT/FIT processes
- Knowledge of OAM functionality and service provisioning
