Job Description
Strong system development experience regarding the collection, recording and analysis of intelligence information.
n
Demonstrated experience in preparing and presenting intelligence briefs in respect of the analysis of intelligence data and identifying emerging threats and trends.
n
Demonstrated negotiation and conflict resolution skills for liaising with management and staff at all levels, to gain commitments and negotiate service delivery, priorities, deadlines, resources and other relevant issues.
n
Ability to navigate and utilise corporate data information systems. Interpersonal skills for negotiating with internal and external stakeholders, who often have competing interests, on sensitive and complex issues.
n
Research and analytical skills for investigating issues and analysing trends associated with corrections specifically sentence administration activities.
n
Sound knowledge of intelligence planning, processes and products.
n
Preparation of complex reports and submissions.
n
High level of oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Strong leadership with the ability to motivate, coach, mentor and encourage staff to meet the challenges of demanding work roles.
n
Comprehensive understanding of office and analytical software including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, iBase and Analysts Notebook.
n
Ability to develop and facilitate training.
n
Manages team performance by providing clear and accurate feedback to staff of progress and performance and takes responsibility for team development.
n
Models qualified and ethical behaviour consistently.
n
Applications to remain current for 12 months.
