About The Rolen

I am looking for a Business Services & Tax Director to take on an existing $700k fee base, with clients of genuine mid tier caliber. Equity is available once the fee base is grown to $1.5m. This role suits someone who backs themselves and enjoys business development as much as the technical work. Based in either Sydney or Brisbane.

What You Will Be Doingn

- Taking ownership of an existing $700k client fee base from day one
n
- Managing and reviewing complex compliance and advisory work across a portfolio of business services and tax clients
n
- Actively pursuing new business development opportunities to grow the fee base toward the $1.5m equity threshold
n
- Leveraging the firm's referral program and networks to bring in new clients
n
- Building and mentoring a team as the client base grows
n
- Acting as a trusted advisor to clients on tax planning, structuring, and broader commercial matters
n
- Working closely with partners and directors on firm strategy and growth initiatives
n





What We Are Looking Forn n
- CA/CPA qualified with strong technical Business Services & Tax experience
n
- Proven experience managing a fee base or portfolio at a mid tier or similar caliber firm
n
- A genuine appetite for business development, with the confidence to back yourself and go after growth
n
- Strong communication and relationship management skills across client and referral networks
n
- Leadership experience or the readiness to lead and develop a team
n
- Based in or willing to be based in Sydney or Brisbane
n
- Equity available once the fee base is grown to $1.5m
n
- Take over an established $700k fee base, no cold start
n
- Clients of genuine mid tier firm caliber
n
- Strong internal referral program with substantial monetary rewards to support growth
n
- WFH days and flexible schedule

- Direct mentorship from managing partners and leadership team

- Junior staff already in place with the option to increase over time
