Our client is a global high-growth FinTech / e-commerce platform currently operating across 15 international markets. As our client moves toward public readiness, they are seeking a commercially minded General Counsel to lead and build its legal and governance function as it prepares to list on the ASX.

This is a rare opportunity to shape the legal foundations of a high-growth business as it prepares to go public. The role spans corporate structuring, governance, and regulatory compliance across a multi-market footprint, and day-to-day commercial legal support.

The successful candidate will lead all legal and governance workstreams for IPO readiness, including corporate structuring, statutory compliance, company secretarial duties, and post-listing disclosure obligations, with a specific focus on the ASX as a potential listing venue. Furthermore,



the General Counsel will act as in-house counsel across our client's multi-market footprint, advising on legal, regulatory, privacy, and compliance matters in complex jurisdictions such as Germany and the US.

All applicants must be admitted to practise law in Australia. Applicants should have experience preparing a business for, or operating following, an ASX listing, including disclosure obligations, governance frameworks, and company secretarial matters. Applicants with prior experience in fintech, e-commerce and gaming are encouraged to apply, as are those with experience in any business setting that has scaled fast and operated in complex regulatory environments.
