TheSenior Pricing Analystwill support the end-to-end pricing of our insurance products through best-in-class data analytics, modelling and implementation. The Senior Pricing Analyst is a highly technical role and ensures our insurance pricing decisions are based on robust data driven analysis and a deep understanding of risk-based pricing.

General

- Understand sources of data, its limitations, and uses within the team
- Analyse, interpret, and extrapolate data from a number of sources to resolve complex issues
- Efficiently manage and manipulate very large data sets
- Implement complex rating changes and quantify the expected impact on the portfolio
- Draw insights and provide recommendations on next steps
- Explain technical work and communicate findings to senior management




- Evaluate alternative data sources for risk rating
- Identify opportunities for improvements to risk rating data and automate analytical processes
- Assist with the development and maintenance of data assets for the wider team

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

- 3+ years general insurance industry experience
- Proven analytical and problem-solving capability
- Excellent attention to detail
- Programming knowledge (e.g. BigQuery, SAS, SQL, R)
- Degree qualified in mathematics, actuarial studies or similar
