About the role

n

We are seeking a professional and people-focused Concierge Security Officer to join our team at a prestigious Melbourne CBD client site.

n

This is a full time, Monday-to-Friday opportunity suited to an experienced security professional who takes pride in delivering both exceptional customer service and high security standards.

n

As the first point of contact for tenants, visitors and contractors, you will play an important role in maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming environment. You will work closely with building management and the client to support day-to-day building operations and respond to security and operational matters as they arise.

n

Monday to Friday - 11:00am to 7:00pm

n

What You'll Be Doing

n

Your day-to-day work will mainly involve:

n

n
- Providing a professional, welcoming and customer-focused service to tenants, visitors and contractors.
n
- Monitoring CCTV, access control systems and building security to maintain a safe and secure environment.
n
- Managing building access, visitor enquiries, contractor access and other front-of-house security requirements.
n
- Responding promptly and professionally to emergencies, incidents and OHS-related matters.
n




- Supporting building management with day-to-day operational and security requirements.
n
- Identifying, managing and escalating security, safety and operational risks.
n
- Completing accurate incident reports, registers and other required documentation while maintaining a high standard of professional presentation.

About You

n

We're looking for a professional, reliable and customer-focused security officer with:

n

n
- Current VIC Private Security Licence
n
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
n
- Previous experience in security or concierge roles.
n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a confident and welcoming approach.
n
- Strong observation, situational awareness and attention to detail.
n
- A sound understanding of security risk management, incident response and emergency procedures.
n
- The ability to remain calm, professional and confident when dealing with challenging situations.
n
- Professional presentation, sound judgement and a genuine commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
n
- Availability to work a Monday to Friday, 11:00am to 7:00pm roster.
