Ongoing Weekday Shifts | Community & Daily Living Support

Nextt is seeking a reliable and committed FEMALE Disability Support Workerto provide ongoing support to a female participant in Warwick Farm, NSW.

n

The participant lives with schizophrenia and requires a Support Worker who can provide consistent, respectful and person-centred assistance with her daily routine, personal care and community access.

n

Hindi language skills are required to support effective communication and help build a comfortable and trusting working relationship.

n

About the Role

n

You will provide support with:

n

n
- Assisting the participant with her morning routine and getting started for the day
n
- Personal care and daily living activities
n
- Household chores and maintaining a comfortable home setting
n
- Prompting medication in accordance with the participant's support plan
n
- Preparing or prompting breakfast
n
- Providing companionship, reassurance and consistent support
n
- Community access on Wednesdays, including transport to:
n
- Encouraging independence, choice and participation in everyday activities
n

n

Shifts

n





Applicants MUST be available for the following ongoing shifts:

n

n
- Monday: 10 00am – 2 00pm
n
- Wednesday: 10 00am – 3 00pm
n
- Friday: 10 00am – 2 00pm
n

n

Previous experience supporting people with mental health or psychosocial disability will be highly regarded.

n

Requirements

n

To be considered, you will need:

n

n
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
n
- Current Working With Children Check - Employee
n
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
n
- NDIS Orientation Module – Quality, Safety and You
n
- Current valid Driver's Licence
n
- Reliable access to a suitable vehicle
n
- Relevant disability or mental health support experience
n

Pay Rates

n

E3.1 (Casual in home and SIL)

n

SCHADS Award E3.1 Casual Rates (before tax):

- Base hourly rate: $36.81
n
- Afternoon shift (shift ends between 8pm and midnight, Monday to Friday): $40.49
n
- Active Night shift (Finishes after midnight or starts before 6am, Monday to Friday)$41.23
n
- Saturday: $51.54
n
- Sunday: $66.26
n
- Public holiday: $80.99
n
