The Role
n
The Stakeholder & Community Engagement Manager is responsible for leading and delivering local stakeholder and community engagement for Alligator Energy's Samphire Uranium Project and associated South Australian exploration activities.
n
Based in Whyalla, the role will provide a visible and accessible local presence and develop strong relationships with communities, Traditional Owners, landowners, local government, industry, businesses and other stakeholders across Whyalla and the Upper Spencer Gulf.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
Develop and maintain solid relationships with local communities, Traditional Owners, landowners, local government, industry, businesses and regional stakeholders.
n
Act as a key local point of contact and maintain a visible Alligator Energy presence across the region.
n
Undertake regular stakeholder meetings, community briefings, information sessions and other engagement activities.
n
Identify emerging stakeholder issues,
community sentiment, risks and opportunities and provide timely advice to management.
n
Support respectful and culturally appropriate engagement with Traditional Owners and Aboriginal organisations.
n
Maintain regular communication with landowners regarding exploration and project activities.
n
Build relationships with local government, regional development organisations, industry groups, businesses, education and training providers.
n
Maintain accurate stakeholder records, commitments and actions in Consultation Manager and ensure agreed actions are followed through.
n
Project Responsibilities
n
Lead local stakeholder engagement associated with the Samphire Uranium Project, including FS, MLA, approvals, exploration and project development activities.
n
Assist with the development, implementation and review of stakeholder and community engagement plans.
n
Work closely with Project, Exploration, Environment and Approvals teams to ensure engagement is integrated into project planning and activities.
n
Coordinate engagement associated with field programs, environmental studies, approvals and exploration activities.
n
Support Traditional Owner, cultural heritage and landowner engagement in coordination with senior management and relevant specialists.
n
Support engagement associated with local employment, procurement,
training and regional participation opportunities.
n
Develop and coordinate community communications, including project updates, fact sheets, FAQs, presentations, newsletters and community notices.
n
Translate technical project information into clear and accessible information for community audiences.
n
Support community meetings, information sessions, presentations and regional events.
n
Ensure local engagement activities align with Alligator Energy's broader stakeholder, communications, government relations and public affairs strategy.
n
Travel to and from Whyalla frequently will be required.

Person Requirements
n
Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement, community relations, external affairs or a related role.
n
Experience within mining, resources, energy, infrastructure, major projects or regional development is highly desirable.
n
Demonstrated experience developing and implementing stakeholder and community engagement plans.
n
Experience working with regional communities, Traditional Owners, landowners, local government and industry stakeholders.
n
Experience preparing community and stakeholder communications.
n
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate technical information for community audiences.
n
Current Australian driver's licence and ability to undertake regular regional travel.
n
Experience with stakeholder management or CRM systems; Consultation Manager experience is desirable.
