Lead Payroll Excellence Across APAC

Are you an experienced payroll professional ready to step into a leadership role? Join Lovisa as our Payroll Operations & Experience Team Leader and help drive payroll excellence across our APAC markets.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll support the Payroll Manager, strengthen team capability, improve payroll processes and ensure our people have a seamless payroll experience.

Your Lovisa Opportunity

- Support the Payroll Manager with the operational leadership of the Payroll team across APAC
n
- Assist with overseeing the end-to-end payroll cycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing
n
- Review payroll outputs, exceptions, reconciliations and key controls before finalisation
n
- Coach and develop the Payroll team, building capability and sharing knowledge
n
- Provide trusted payroll advice to managers and team members
n
- Own the employee payroll experience, ensuring enquiries are resolved accurately and within agreed timeframes
n
- Create and maintain payroll FAQs, guides and employee resources
n
- Prepare payroll reports for Operations and key stakeholders
n
- Support month-end activities including leave provisions, reconciliations, reporting and payroll journals
n
- Contribute to payroll system upgrades, testing, configuration and implementation projects
n
- Use payroll data and reporting to identify trends, errors and opportunities for improvement
n
- Drive a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement

About You - What You'll Bring

n

n
- 3-5+ years' relevant payroll experience
n
- Strong, up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation and statutory requirements
n
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
n
- Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills
n




- Experience with Dayforce Payroll highly desirable
n
- Experience with Time & Attendance systems, ideally UKG
n
- Retail payroll experience highly desirable
n
- Strong understanding of payroll systems and best-practice processes
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
- A strong focus on accuracy, compliance and disciplined payroll execution
n
- A commercial mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
n
- A collaborative leadership style and genuine desire to support and develop others
n
- Ability to identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and the employee experience
