About the Role

As a Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for translating business requirements into technical solutions, analysing and improving existing systems, and contributing to the design and delivery of recent capabilities. You will play a key role throughout the solution lifecycle, from requirements gathering and analysis through to design, testing and implementation.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyse and evaluate business processes and requirements
- Develop solution designs and detailed functional specifications
- Produce and maintain solution documentation
- Conduct system and application assessments, including feasibility, risks and benefits analysis
- Support testing activities, defect management and implementation processes
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes




- Review technical documentation and provide guidance to team members
- Manage system enhancements, changes and continuous improvement initiatives
- Contribute to quality assurance activities including peer reviews and design reviews

Skills & Experience Required

We are looking for candidates who demonstrate experience in:

- Business and systems analysis within complex ICT environments
- Requirements elicitation, definition, prioritisation and traceability
- Producing functional and technical specifications
- Conducting feasibility assessments and supporting business case development
- Stakeholder engagement across business and technical teams
- Agile delivery environments and software development lifecycles
- System testing, defect management and implementation support

Eligibility Requirements

- Baseline Security Clearance
- Ability to work from one of the approved locations: ACT, VIC or SA
