Picker/Packer Store person-DAY Shift in Cold-room Full time

We are looking for a dedicated hard-working employee to join our team picking and packing our customers' orders ready for dispatch from our New Murarrie facility.

n

This is a Casual position with an evening shift from approx 4pm for 3 days a week and requires the successful applicant to work with minimal direction in the cold-room environment. Suitable for students. The days are Monday, Wednesday & Thursday every week. There will be basic store person duties and the requirement to record stock levels.

Key duties will include:

n

- Accurately picking orders for our customers using picking slips.
n
- Packing cartons with the stock for required stock and labelling each box.
n




- Keep work area and cool rooms clean and tidy and performing general maintenance tasks.
n
- This role requires a high degree of physical work; you will need to stand and walk for long periods of time while performing manual lifting up to 15kg regularly. You will also need to work in a cold environment of 3°C.
n
- Accurately load packed orders onto required pallets in the dispatch zones as per run sheets designation.
n
- Amend picking slips and run sheets for drivers via computer.

The skills and experience required for this role are:

n

A proven background in performing stores and picking and packing tasks

n

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

n

Experience working in a fast-paced deadline driven setting

n

Initiative and problem-solving skills

n

Must be willing to work alone at times.
