WHAT YOU WILL LEAD AND GROW
- This Territory Manager role, based in Melbourne CBD & East down to Mornington Peninsula, will actively market products and services to hospitals, spending 80% of the time in the operating room (NO on call).
- The position will manage and maintain existing business that is already in place and generate and acquire new business and maximise sales objectives through direct customers, providing customer service and support.
- The role is required to sell and promote a range of 90% capital equipment and 10% consumables in theatre across Melbourne with a country trip once a quarter to Shepparton, Mildura, Sale etc., and continue already prepared sales and territory plans to identify specific commercial opportunities.
- You will maintain and build excellent customer relationships,
understand and impart product knowledge and detailed technical information and provide regular care and in-servicing of integrated theatre equipment for customers in the field.
- You will be responsible for providing first line technical support and expertise to existing customers (surgeons & nurses - gynae & urology) in the operating room environment and in the hospital working with multiple stakeholders to win business.
- You will prepare presentations, proposals and customer correspondence and be responsible for the entry of all territory data into a CRM system (Salesforce).
WHAT EXPERIENCE & SKILLS WILL YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB?
- Preferably a Bachelor's degree in nursing, science, business or a related discipline, not mandatory.
- Minimum 5 years capital equipment sales experience (preferred) in medical devices in operating theatre or surgical sales experience in theatre in Melbourne (NO on call).
- The ability to understand and impart technical knowledge, understanding of medical technology and be very comfortable clinically and technically.
- Committed to working professionally and ethically at all times.
- Proactive self-management in owning your business and driving results.
- Demonstrated ability in planning and execution of sales and territory plans.
- A current, valid driver's license and work rights in Australia essential.
