Platinum Pacific Partners is currently working across several mandates within the Australian private credit and opportunistic structured solutions market, spanning institutional investors, investment bank principal investment platforms and multi-asset alternative managers. Brands have access to global institutional capital, are large cap managers with multi billion dollar investment platforms. We are seeking investment professionals from Associate through to Vice President level across private credit, direct lending, structured finance, special situations, real estate debt, leveraged finance, restructuring and other bespoke capital solutions. These opportunities provide exposure to a broad range of transactions, from corporate lending through to complex investments across the capital structure. Depending on the platform, candidates may be involved across origination, investment analysis, due diligence, structuring, execution, and portfolio management.

We are particularly interested in candidates with backgrounds across:

- Private credit and direct lending

- Structured and alternative credit

- Special situations and distressed investing

- Restructuring and leveraged finance
n




- Real estate credit and structured real estate finance

- Investment banking and corporate finance, particularly M&A;, credit or structuring

Preference is for candidates who have developed their experience within investment banking environments, with strong exposure to M&A; and complex transactions. Candidates should have a deep understanding of capital structures, solid valuation and financial modelling skills, and the ability to assess businesses from an investment perspective. Beyond technical capability, we are looking for commercially astute investors with a proven investment mindset, individuals who can form a clear view on risk and reward, undertake deep due diligence, and identify how best to structure an investment to achieve attractive returns while protecting downside. The strongest candidates will be comfortable working on complex or less conventional situations and bring a degree of lateral thinking to their analysis. The ability to understand a business, its position within the capital structure and the broader commercial context will be highly valued.
