Austin Health is the major provider of tertiary health services, health skilled education and research across three campuses in the north-east of Melbourne and statewide. We are seeking a Cardiologist to support Cardiology outpatient services.

A regular day will see you:

- Attending and managing patients through the general cardiology outpatient clinic.
- Providing comprehensive management of inpatients and outpatients.
- Participation in the ward service roster and providing comprehensive management of inpatients.
- Attendance and active involvement in weekly departmental lecture series, clinicalaudits and craft group clinical meetings.
- Participating in the relevant cardiology on-call service.

About you

As a Cardiologist, you will be someone who has excellent communication skills, with a strong commitment to excellence in patient care. You’ll bring energy and drive to your work and have a keen interest in developing your skillset and immersing yourself in our unit activities.

To be successful in this role you’ll bring with you:

- Registered Medical Practitioner in Australia with AHPRA.
- Hold a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in Cardiology or its equivalent with postgraduate qualifications in Cardiology.
- Appropriate training and experience applicable to the field of cardiology and its applicable sub-specialty.
- Commitment to quality,



excellence and best practice in the delivery of cardiac services to Austin Health patients.
- Demonstrated capability and interest in research.
