The Opportunity

Troocoo is exclusively partnering with a well-established distribution business seeking an experienced Regional DC Manager to lead a network of distribution operations across Northern Australia.

n

This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior leadership position with responsibility extending well beyond the day-to-day management of a single facility. The successful candidate will oversee multiple operational sites, lead large leadership teams and take ownership of the commercial and operational performance of the region.

n

With responsibility for more than 80 employees across multiple locations, this role requires a highly analytical and commercially astute leader who can leverage data, systems and continuous improvement initiatives to drive performance and support future growth.

Key Responsibilities Include:

- Lead the operational performance of multiple distribution facilities across Northern Australia
n
- Maintain full accountability for regional P&L; performance, budgets and cost management
n
- Develop and implement forward-thinking initiatives focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement
n
- Establish robust reporting frameworks, KPIs and performance metrics across the network
n
- Drive improvements across inventory management, stock accuracy and warehouse efficiency
n




- Identify and implement systems, technology and process improvement opportunities
n
- Lead workforce planning, labour optimisation and operational resource allocation
n
- Develop high-performing leadership teams and drive a culture of accountability
n
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality and operational standards across all locations
n
- Partner with senior stakeholders to support strategic business objectives and future growth
n

Skills & Experience

n

n
- 15+ years' experience within warehousing, distribution, logistics or supply chain operations
n
- Proven experience leading multiple distribution centres, regions or large operational networks
n
- Demonstrated P&L; ownership and solid commercial acumen
n
- Significant experience managing large workforces across multiple sites
n
- Advanced analytical capability with a data-driven approach to decision making
n
- Proven track record delivering measurable continuous improvement outcomes
n
- Experience implementing operational transformation, systems or process improvement initiatives
n
- Strong ERP and WMS expertise, with SAP, Pronto or similar platforms highly regarded
n
- Extensive inventory management experience within high-volume, high-SKU environments
n
- Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills
n
