Western District Health Service is seeking Expressions of Interest from highly motivated Registered Nurses interested in undertaking postgraduate studies while working within their chosen specialty area.
n
Opportunities are available in:

- Critical Care (ICU/Emergency)
n
- Cancer Care (Oncology)
n
- Perioperative Nursing
n
- Renal Nursing
n
- Midwifery
n
n
This exciting program combines formal postgraduate study with supported clinical practice, enabling participants to develop specialist skills while contributing to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services across Western District Health Service.
n
Previous experience within your preferred specialty area is desirable but not essential.

What You'll Be Doing
n
Specialist Clinical Practice
n
Work within your chosen specialty area while developing advanced clinical knowledge, decision‐making capability and hands‐on experience under the guidance of experienced clinicians and educators.
n
Career development
n
Participate in structured learning, educational activities and clinical mentoring designed to support successful completion of postgraduate studies and specialty practice development.
n
Patient-Centred Care
n
Deliver evidence‐based, high‐quality care while supporting positive outcomes for patients, consumers and families.
n
Collaborative Practice
n
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to a culture of learning,
excellence, innovation and continuous improvement.

What You Bring
n
n
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
n
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
n
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
n
- Passion for delivering person‐centred care
n
n
Previous experience within your preferred specialty area is desirable but not essential.
