Job Description

n
- Lead the development and maturity of Triple Zero Victoria's technology disaster recovery and continuity capability
n
- Provide leadership across technology disaster recovery planning, recovery readiness, testing and continuous improvement
n
- Develop a comprehensive technology continuity and disaster recovery framework for ECIS
n
- Establish and maintain technology recovery requirements, including Recovery Point Objectives (RPOs) and Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs)
n
- Develop detailed technology recovery plans, processes, procedures, playbooks and checklists
n
- Collaborate with the Business Continuity and Resilience team to align technology recovery plans with organisational continuity requirements
n
- Lead and coordinate the review, update and continuous improvement of disaster recovery plans, governance, recovery processes and technical recovery readiness
n
- Develop a Disaster Recovery Testing Strategy and Test Plan with an ongoing multi-year schedule
n
- Plan, lead and coordinate simulated exercises and technical recovery testing, including failover, recovery and return-to-normal capabilities
n
- Develop and maintain a prioritised multi-year roadmap for technology continuity and disaster recovery maturity
n
- Work across technology teams, architecture, business continuity, projects and strategic vendors
n
- Report to the Senior Manager, Technology Resilience
n

Requirements

n

n
- Extensive experience in technology disaster recovery, IT service continuity or technology resilience within complex environments
n
- Proven ability to develop and continuously improve disaster recovery and technology continuity frameworks, strategies, and capabilities
n
- Experience creating technology recovery plans,



including establishing RTO and RPO requirements and developing recovery procedures, playbooks and checklists
n
- Demonstrated ability to translate business impact, risk, and continuity requirements into technology recovery strategies
n
- Experience developing and leading disaster recovery testing, recovery exercises, and validation activities across technology and business teamsStrong capability in assessing recovery readiness, identifying gaps, and driving continuous improvement initiatives
n
- Knowledge of ITIL, ISO 27031/22301, and VPDSF (desirable)
n
- Experience in 24/7 mission-critical or public sector environments (desirable)
n
- Australian or Current Zealand Citizen or Permanent Resident
n
- Evidence of Australian working rights
n
- Successful completion of a Pre-employment Medical Declaration
n
- National Police Check clearance
n
