Are you a passionate professional ready to make a real impact?We’reseeking a dedicated expert with experience supporting students facing literacy, disability, and ESL challenges.

As an Education Support Officer,you’llempower studentswho identify throughthe Institute’senrolment or self-referralprocessas needing extra support due to a diagnosed disability, medical or mental health condition, or learning challenges. Your role will be key in helping them navigate language, literacy, numeracy, and digital skills for success.

Selected Duties:

- Facilitate learning and promote success to students requiring academic support.




- Provide support to students within established Institute procedures tofacilitatethe student’s ability to activelyparticipatein their studies.
- Seek guidance from the Disability Liaison Officer or Team Leader Support Services.
- Use yourdecision-makingskills within established policy and procedures.
- Display empathy and problem-solving skillsdemonstratingan attitude of dignity and respect towards people of all abilities, practicing a person-centred approach of empowerment and self-determination.

About you

You will bring:

- Diploma Community Services and / ordemonstratedrecent experience, or a suitable combination of lesser qualifications and relevant experience.
- Experience with on-line learning platforms e.g. Moodle.
- Relevant Diploma in education, communityservicesor specialist support.
- Experience in working with students where English is their second language
